Borders are just imaginary lines on maps, right? Wrong! We had a few challenges crossing the border from Mexico into Guatemala: "lost" tourist visas, importing the Earthroamer, pushy men trying to "help" direct us, a new currency, and re-learning normal life stuff in a new country. But the Guatemalan highlands were incredible!

Oaxaca is home to mole, mezcal, handicrafts, textiles, and most things "Mexico." But already running behind schedule, and with an upcoming yoga event on the other side of Mexico, we were planning to briefly sample Oaxaca and then move on. But truck trouble kept us there much longer than we had planned!
