One of the most common questions we get about our nomadic lifestyle is what are we doing about school for the kids? Some people are simply curious. Others aspire to travel more long term with their children and seem to be looking for a "How To" guide. And others still seem genuinely horrified by the fact that by traveling we are denying our children a "normal" education. So this is an attempt to answer some of those questions, but honestly, we mostly fly by the seat of our pants!
Oaxaca is home to mole, mezcal, handicrafts, textiles, and most things "Mexico." But already running behind schedule, and with an upcoming yoga event on the other side of Mexico, we were planning to briefly sample Oaxaca and then move on. But truck trouble kept us there much longer than we had planned!

March 25, 2017 would have been our daughter Zama's fourth birthday. It’s been important for us to keep Zama’s memory alive. Since we decided to travel and have an online blog, we wanted to be authentic by being open about our experience having and losing our second daughter, and how that has affected our life.
